Sudan’s 24-hour ceasefire reportedly failed. The two sides had agreed to a 24-hour ceasefire yesterday (18) to provide relief for the civilians affected by the clashes and to hospitalize the injured, but it is reported that the fighting resumed within a few minutes of the announcement of the ceasefire.
Sudan, which was under military rule, was recently considered to be under a civilian government, and an interim army in the country started fighting against the army. According to foreign media, a number of people have died and many others have been injured in the clashes.
