The pilot who closed the cockpit door to the co-pilot resigns.

The pilot involved in the incident of locking the cockpit of a SriLankan Airlines flight which was flying from Sydney to Colombo has resigned.

During the flight, the co-pilot had gone to the toilet and when she returned, the chief pilot refused to open the cockpit door, leading to a conflict between the chief pilot and the co-pilot.

The incident did not disrupt the flight but caused unrest among passengers and crew. After the incident, SriLankan Airlines started an investigation and suspended the chief pilot and co-pilot.
