Chaturanga Abeysinghe, the national executive member of the National People’s Force, states that the government has the necessary provisions for the import of fuel and gas needed for the country in the coming period of this year.
He said that the necessary fuel and gas suply have been ordered for the upcoming period as well, and that the former president has not acted with the aim of disrupting the NPP government and said that former president Ranil Wickremesinghe should be thanked for that.
Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s advisor Ashu Marasinghe, who spoke there, said that there is a reserve of 4.4 billion dollars in the country that can be used for the expenses of the new government, and that the government has paid the debt amounting to more than 3 billion dollars.
