It is reported that a person died in a shooting involving the Police Special Task Force today (08) in the Angamuwa area of Padukka.
According to police sources, a person traveling on a motorcycle fired at the police, prompting the Police Special Task Force to retaliate.
The deceased has been identified as a 26-year-old Sri Lanka Air Force soldier .
The police suspect that this individual is the gunman involved in the shooting of two people in Horana’s Moragahahene area yesterday (07).
