The car driven by the Puttalam District Parliamentarian of the National People’s Power, Muhammad Faisal, has met with an accident.
The car driven by the MP veered off the road at the Bandarawatte bend in Chilaw and hit a wall. It is also reported that the car and the wall have been seriously damaged in the accident.
The accident occurred at around 11.45 last night. It is said that the MP was the only one in the car at the time. The Chilaw Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
