The government has decided to revise the allowances paid to G.S (Grama niladhari.) Accordingly, it is reported that the office allowances and stationery allowances given to them have been increased with effect from the first day of April.
According to the report, the related circular has already been issued by the Secretary of the Ministry of State Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government to all District Secretaries, and Divisional Secretaries.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Administration reports that the monthly office allowance has been increased to 3,000 rupees within the municipal and municipal councils, and the monthly office allowance has been increased to 2,000 rupees and the annual stationery allowance has been increased to 3,000 rupees
