For the second consecutive month in 2025, the average national tea sales in Sri Lanka have been reported to declined. Accordingly, the average national tea sales for the month of April have fallen to Rs. 1,116.75 ($3.9) per kilogram of tea.
This is a decrease of Rs. 17.01 ($0.11) compared to the Rs. 1,183.76 ($4.02) recorded in March.
This is a decrease of Rs. 50.10 or $0.15 compared to the average national tea sales value of Rs. 1,216.85 ($4.06) per kilogram of tea recorded in April 2024.
