The government surveyors have started a trade union action today by reporting sick leave.
Duminda Undugoda, President of the Government Surveyors Association, stated that the action was initiated in protest against the lack of solutions to several issues including human resources and other issues that have arisen in the surveying department.
He further said that if there is no response to today’s protest, then on August 2nd, he will report sick leave and hold a protest.
