Support of the World Health Organization to provide an international level laboratory to Sri Lanka.

Dr. Alaka Singh, the resident representative of the World Health Organization, says that the World Health Organization will support the construction of an international level laboratory, which is necessary to improve the health conditions in Sri Lanka.

She said this in a recent meeting with Health Minister Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella at the Ministry.

There was a long discussion regarding the construction of a Benchmark 4 level international laboratory, which is a major deficiency in this country. The Minister of Health, Keheliya Rambukwella, who spoke here, said that the President has also paid close attention in this regard and also considers making provisions as a priority task.

Here, Dr. Alaka Singh said that the World Health Organization will provide all necessary support to the country regarding the construction of an international level laboratory.
