Sri Lankan women beat South Africa by 5 wickets in the (02) match of the tri-nation women’s ODI series involving India, South Africa and Sri Lankan women.
The match, which was played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, was the third match of the series. Previously, Sri Lanka and South Africa had faced India, and India had won both matches.
Sri Lanka will enter this match with three changes. Accordingly, Vishmee Gunaratne, Devmi Vihanga and Sugandika Kumari were included in place of Hansima Karunaratne, Piyumi Vatsala and Achini Kaushalya, who were in the team that had played against the Indian team earlier. Devmi Vihanga made her ODI debut in this match.
The South African team played the same team that had played against the Indian team earlier.

Chasing 235 runs, Sri Lanka women’s cricketers won the match by scoring 237 runs for the loss of only 5 wickets with 21 balls remaining in the innings.
Harshita Samarawickrama. She scored 77 runs off 93 balls with 8 fours. She and Kavisha Dilhari put on a 128-run stand for the 4th wicket. Kavisha Dilhari scored 61 runs off 75 balls with 6 fours and a six.
