Former head coach of Leicestershire County Cricket Club in England, Tim Boone has been appointed as a consultant to the High Performance Centre of Sri Lanka Cricket. The appointment has been made by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for a period of one month, effective from May 8.
During this period, Tim Boone will work closely with the Sri Lanka Women’s National Team, Women’s ‘A’ Team, Men’s Emerging Team and Sri Lanka Under-17 National Team to improve the batting skills.
A former coach of the England Under-19 team, he is recognised as a coach with a wealth of experience.
His programme in Sri Lanka will include technical and tactical sessions aimed at improving the players’ overall batting approach and individual performance.
