Sri Lanka A Australia A second four-day match: Nuwanidu hits century

Sri Lanka A were in a strong position at the end of the first day of the second four-day match between Sri Lanka A and Australia A.

Opener Lahiru Udara was dismissed early and the team was 18 for 1. However, Sri Lanka got back into the game with a brilliant 116-run stand for the second wicket between opener Kamil Mishara and No. 3 batsman Nuwanidu Fernando.

Playing a patient innings, Kamil Mishara scored 81 runs in 131 balls, including 9 fours. After Mishara’s dismissal, Nuwanidu Fernando, who took over the batting, played a brilliant innings, bringing up his century in 234 balls.
