Southern Province Governor Bandula Harischandra has passed away. He passed away this morning (16) while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital due to an illness.
He was 62 years old at the time of his death and had also served as a senior administrative officer. He had held various government positions including as the Government Agent of Galle, Matara, Hambantota and Vavuniya and as the Secretary to the Ministry of Buddha Sasana.
