Six students, who were swimming in the Talpe Sea in Habaraduwa, Galle, were caught by the waves and swept away this afternoon. On that occasion, residents and the police together rescued five students, while one student went missing.
A group of students who had come for an excursion organized by a support class in the Kurunegala area met with the same accident at Talpe beach.
