Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Chairman D.J.A.S. de S. Rajakaruna says that attention is being paid to introducing several new QR codes to issue fuel to those engaged in the agricultural industry, fishermen and several other parties.
These new codes are to be introduced as a vehicle-free QR system.
The Chairman said that this new QR system can be created by informing the Grama Sevaka and Divisional Secretariat about their fuel needs, and it will be created for the National Identity Card number of the individuals.
This new QR code will be created under several methods and accordingly, it is reported that there is a possibility of obtaining fuel under 7 categories.
