The special working committee meeting to nominate the candidate of Samagi Jana Balavega in the upcoming presidential election ended a few moments ago. A senior member of the party said that the name of opposition leader Sajith Premadasa was unanimously adopted as the presidential candidate of Samagi Jana Balawega.
Former State Minister Sujeewa Senasinghe proposed the name of opposition leader Sajith Premadasa for the presidential election and the party secretary general Ranjith Maddumabandara confirmed the proposal.
