He mentioned that clinical waste discarded from neighboring countries has become a problem for Sri Lanka.
Also, the plastic waste on the beach is a problem and because currently Sri Lanka’s plastic waste management technology is deficient, American assistance was requested for it.
The discussion focused on climate related issues, political challenges and the importance of environmental policies in Sri Lanka.
