The Appellate Court today issued an order extending the retirement age of all doctors to 63 years.
The two-judge bench of the Court of Appeal consisting of Judges Nishanka Bandula Karunaratne and Vikum Kaluarachchi made this order based on a writ petition filed by 176 medical specialists challenging the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 10-17-2022.
