The Indian tycoon Ratan Tata has died at the age of 86. The Tata company announced that their late leader was a great Indian who is credited with transforming the Tata Group into a globally renowned conglomerate.
“It is with a profound sense of loss that we bid farewell to Mr. Ratan Naval Tata, a truly exceptional leader,” Tata Group said in a statement on X (formerly Twitter). The company is one of the largest in India, with annual revenues exceeding $100 billion (£76.5 billion).
