The Government Analyst’s Department says it has not been confirmed that former Parliamentarian and Speaker Ashoka Ranwala was drinking alcohol when he was involved in a car accident.
The department stated that tests conducted on his blood and urine samples did not confirm that he had consumed alcohol.
