Chief Inspector of Police Ashoka Ariyawansa, who served as the Chief Security Officer of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, has been transferred to the Kankesanthurai Police with immediate effect,.It is reported that the transfer was made by the Police Headquarters with effect from today (May 1).
Chief Inspector of Police Ashoka Ariyawansa has worked in the security unit of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe for 23 years. He has served as the former President’s Chief Security Officer for the last 15 years.
