Former Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said that the biggest May Day in Sri Lanka will be celebrated by the Podujana Peramuna tomorrow, He said this while addressing the media when he came to observe the construction of the May Day stage at Campbell stadiyam today.
He said that the rally will be held under the chairmanship of former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, the chairman of the party, and that the current President Ranil Wickremesinghe has been invited to May Day but his participation has not been confirmed, and that a congratulatory message from the President will be added to it.
Member of Parliament Mahindananda Aluthgamage also emphasized that former President President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will not participate in the May Day rally of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).
