The Ministry of Health says that the uniform allowances paid to the nursing staff in the health department have been increased.
Thus, it has been decided to increase the current allowance of 15,000 rupees to 25,000 rupees for this year by 10,000 rupees for the nursing staff and public health inspectors.
The allowance of 14000 rupees currently paid to family health service officers has been increased by 9000 rupees to 23000 rupees and the stipend of 10300 rupees to 17000 rupees has been increased to 6700 rupees to the posts of Malaria and Barawa Control Assistant, Public Health Field Officer, Entomology Assistant and School Dental Therapist. .
In addition to this, the Ministry of Health has informed that the current allowance of 9300 rupees increses up to 15000 rupees . The current allowance, will be doubled from 01.01.2025 for all these positions with effect from next year.
The circular related to the payment of these revised allowances has been issued by the Secretary of the Ministry of Health, and the revised allowances for this year have been approved from May and the revised allowances for the next year from March of the same year.
