Venerable Akmeemana Dayaratne Thero has said that Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya should resign from her post immediately.
The Thero also states that she is being accused of receiving money from USAID to plunge the country into crisis and to dehumanize it.
The Thero claims that the current Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya is also on the list of those who allegedly received USAID money released by the American President.
He said that there was a perception in society that the Prime Minister and a group had been funded to socialize homosexuality in the country, and the allegations made are now being confirmed by the information that is now being revealed, the Thero said at a media conference.
