The Chinese Ambassador officially handed over the school uniforms donated to Sri Lanka by the Chinese government for the year 2025 to Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya at the Colombo Port yesterday.
The Prime Minister attended the ceremony scheduled to be held at 11.30 am to officially hand over the uniforms after an hour’s delay.
Therefore, the Chinese Ambassador’s return from another assignment was a special event. The ceremony began after the Prime Minister arrived after an hour’s delay.
