President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the restructuring process of Sri Lankan Airlines is in the final stages. He stated that its $210 million debt will be restructured this year.
The President said this while presenting the budget for the year 2026 to Parliament.
Referring to the economic growth rate, the President said that he is working to achieve a seven percent economic growth in the future. He also said that he expects to bring the foreign reserves to seven billion dollars by the end of this year.
