President Ranil Wickramasinghe chaired the first phase of the “Migrant Harasara” program organized across the island to appreciate the contribution of migrant workers to the Sri Lankan economy, at Kurunegala’s Satyavadi ground.
The President’s Media Unit states that 50,000 rupees each will be awarded for starting self-employment with the aim of turning migrant workers into entrepreneurs.
