It is reported that the power has been cut off today (08) in the official residence of former Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake.
Sources of the Electricity Board say that the electricity bill for the mayor’s official residence has not been paid for four months since last March, and the total outstanding amount is 6 lakh rupees.
C.M.C workers say that Rosy Senanayake should pay this outstanding bill due to the illegal stay of the mayor at the mayor’s house after the city council was dissolved.
