Police say that MP Disna Neranjala, the wife of the principal who was arrested with a heroin stockpile in the Anuradhapura area, is a relative of Kosgoda Sujee, a large-scale drug trafficker and criminal.
Police also say that a special investigation will be initiated regarding the property of the government principal who was arrested with heroin.
A stock of heroin weighing 01 kilogram, 185 grams and 400 milligrams has been seized, the police say, and its value is approximately two million rupees. The police say that the suspects in the incident will be produced before the court today.
