International Monetary Fund (IMF) is supporting Sri Lanka at this difficult time, said the managing director of the fund, Kristalina Georgieva.
She emphasized that the International Monetary Fund is supporting Sri Lanka in this difficult time, to stabilize the economy, accelerate social security and revive growth.
She said this when she met the delegation including Minister of State Shehan Semasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe and Treasury Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena, who are currently in Washington.
World Bank’s Managing Director of Operations Anna Bejed also met the Sri Lankan delegation and she also expressed her support for Sri Lanka.
