Pakistan managed to win the first match of the T20 World Cup held at the SSC Stadium in Colombo today by three wickets. Pakistan faced an unexpected challenge from the Netherlands and in the end they were able to win by three wickets with only three balls remaining.
Batting first, the Netherlands were all out for 147 runs in 19.5 overs. Scott Edwards scored 37 runs in 29 balls. Salman Mirza took 3 wickets for 24 runs in the bowling.
