One person has died in a shooting incident that occurred on the Wennappuwa Wewa Road at around 10.30 am today (31).
The attack targeted two individuals who were returning on a motorcycle after signing a police report for a court case.
A group of people who arrived in a car first hit the motorcycle. The assailants then attacked the two individuals on the motorcycle with sharp Knife and sward and shot them. One person died in the attack, while the other person was injured and fled.
