Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya says that a new early childhood education curriculum will be implemented from 2027 with the aim of providing standardized early childhood education to children, and the teacher training program for it is scheduled to be implemented from next year.
She said this while participating in the introduction of the National Policy Framework for Early Childhood Education Curriculum prepared by the Department of Early Childhood Development and Primary Education of the National Institute of Education.
A group of representatives from UNICEF also joined the program held at the Ministry of Education this afternoon.
