It is reported that the employees of the Fire Department who were attached to the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant have left their duties since April 1.
The reason for this has been reported to be the expiration of the contract period between the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant and the Fire Department, and the plant management has not taken steps to renew the contract period, according to the employees. Internal sources say that the power plant administration’s attempt to reduce the number of firefighters currently working there has led to a rift between the two parties.
Accordingly, the employees of the Fire Department have informed their headquarters in this regard and have left.
As a solution to the fire department being empty, the employees of the relevant plant who were trained during the time the fire department was operating in the plant have been deployed to those tasks, and this is a very risky activity in a plant of this type, the sources say.
