The state-of-the-art LED lighting system at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo is reportedly nearing completion. Accordingly, the stadium will become the second international cricket stadium in Sri Lanka to have six LED towers after Dambulla.
Due to development work, day-night matches at the stadium have been temporarily suspended. Accordingly, the upcoming Australia-Sri Lanka ODIs on February 12 and 16 will be played as day matches, not under lights.
