Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Namal Rajapaksa said that a strong regional cooperation should be built in South Asia to address political instability and security challenges.
He also emphasized the central role of India in maintaining peace and stability.
Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka have recently been involved in political Namal Rajapaksa noted that unrest and changes in government have been experienced, and that extremist elements are sometimes fueling these conspiracies.
He said that a collective effort is needed to combat extremism, prevent political violence and protect minority rights to resolve these issues.
