Deputy Minister Nalin Hewage said that the wife and younger brother of former Minister S.M. Chandrasena are currently in prison. He also stated that two major cases are pending in court regarding former Minister Chandrasena.
He said that the two cases related to Mavil Aru compensation and the construction of hotels in Wevu Thawulla will be concluded soon and the elder brother will be sent to his wife and brother. Addressing a public meeting, he said that there is now a people’s government and therefore the law will be applied equally to everyone.
