Medical Laboratory Professionals Continue to Strike.

The Joint Federation of Paramedical Professionals has decided to end the strike initiated by the Paramedical Professionals at 8.00 am today (07).

Its Secretary Chanaka Dharmawickrama says that considering the inconvenience caused to patients by this strike, 04 of its five associations have decided to end the strike action.

However, he says that the group of medical laboratory professionals who are facing a crisis will continue to strike.

Chanaka Dharmawickrama, further expressing his views, stated that if solutions to their demands are not provided, steps will be taken to resume the strike, which was temporarily suspended.

The Secretary of the Joint Federation of Paramedical Professionals states that the Ministry of Health is not paying due attention to this problematic situation that can be solved very simply and that they are requesting the President and the Prime Minister to intervene to resolve their problems.
