The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has ordered the remand of a person arrested in connection with the incident in which he allegedly filmed a motorcade carrying the Chief Justice on a mobile phone until the 10th.
The suspect was produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate by the Cinnamon Gardens Police. The police informed the court that further investigations are underway regarding the incident.
The police also requested the court to issue an order to forward the suspect’s mobile phone to the Government Analyst and obtain a report.
