Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe responds to the news that he has not filed an asset declaration.
The Deputy Minister of Labour’s Media Secretary, Buddhi Gunasekara, has issued a statement saying that the news is false. He said that the Deputy Minister submitted his asset declaration to the Presidential Secretariat on 30.06.2025. He also said that the file containing the letter was sent to the Commission for the Prevention of Bribery or Corruption by the Presidential Secretariat on 01.07.2025.
