Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Nalinda Jayatissa says the government is considering imposing certain restrictions on the weekly cabinet press conference.
At the press conference held today to announce cabinet decisions, Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said that in future, attention has been focused on involving only those with journalist ID cards in cabinet press conferences.
He said that he is coming to the cabinet press conference to announce the decisions taken by the cabinet, and that only questions arising regarding those decisions and a few other essential questions can be asked.
