The last Kumbal Perahera of the Kandy Esala Perahera will be paraded through the streets tonight.
The Perahera, which will depart in a southerly direction at 6.43 pm at the auspicious time, is scheduled to pass through Dalada Veediya, Yatinuwara Veediya and return to Rajaveediya.
The fourth Kumbal Perahera paraded through the streets last night and the relic perahera casket was carried by the Inidiraja of the Dalada Maligawa elephant class, while the Buruma Raja and Pulathisi Raja walked as elephants.
Representing the Sri Dalada Maligawa, Basnayake Nilame Daminda Bandara of the Sri Kataragama Devalaya in Kandy marched in the Udurawana Dalada Perahera.
