Former Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara has been appointed as the new chairman of the MCC World Cricket Committee. This post was heled by former England captain Mike Gattin for passed six years.
In a statement, Marylebone Cricket Club said that the team includes Sourav Ganguly, Heather Knight, Justin Langer, Eoin Morgan and Graeme Smith among other exceptional cricketers.
Kumar Sangakkara held the post of President of MCC for 2019-2021. It is said that he is going to start his new position soon.
