Kottahachchi will forget the past.

Jathika Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Nilanthi Kottahachchi said that it is a serious crime to socialize facts without sufficient evidence to confirm them as truth. She stated this while participating in a discussion held on an online channel.

“If a person claims that a fact is true and does so without sufficient evidence to socialize it, there is no greater criminal than such a person. Even in a court case, a decision is made after hearing the evidence of both the prosecution and the defense.
It is a serious offense to spread information after hearing only one side’s story and not investigating its truth or falsehood. Believing only what a person says and socializing things without proper investigation can cause great harm.”

Nilanthi Hottahachchi said during the election that the Rajapaksas’ money is in Uganda and that a National People’s Power government should be appointed to bring it back, but later she stated that the Rajapaksas do not have such money in Uganda.
