Janaka Ratnayake, the former chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, states that he will definitely contest for the next presidential election. He said that he took this decision considering the requests made by several parties to contest the presidential election.
He said that he is ready to establish the power of the country in the future by forming a rainbow color alliance to change the cynical political culture in the country. He said so in a press conference held after a resolution of the Parliament was passed and he was removed from that position.
He further said that those who supported the resolution brought against him were those who did not solve the problem and those who opposed understood this situation.
