It was not the governments but those who created ideologies from outside destroyed the economy

Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manushya Nanayakkara said today (25) while participating in the ‘Jayagamu Sri Lanka – Smart Youth Club’ program held at Galle Samanala Stadium that the people who created ideologies in the country for 75 years and not those who held the government destroyed the country’s development.

The minister who said that the youth community should think about how to develop the Galle district, which has a rainbow culture, as entrepreneurs, said the following.

“We came to Galle as the 23rd district. Many good things are written about this Galle. Also, Galle is a rainbow city. Starting from the sea and passing through Kanneliya, we go to Sinharajaya. We have tea, rubber, coffee, cinnamon and cardamom. A district where Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and Burghers all live.

As far as religions are concerned, there are people of all religions, including Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Pentecostalism in our Galle district. There are people in different industries. Gems, gold, fishing, lacquer industry, what industry does not exist in Galle? We carve – we’re famous. We make masks, and when it comes to art, we dance in the uplands, but how many things do Galle have from Shanti Karma Bali and Thovilwala? How much diversity is there in our Galle? Therefore, we should use the diversity of Galle as our strength.

I said how much can we market many things as a country? The history of Rumassala is told in the Ramayana. If you say Hanuma to Indians, they worship. Building temples. Hasn’t anyone thought of building a Hanuman temple in Rumassala and bringing some of the billions of people in India here as tourists? How would the people of Galle scold us if we went to build like that? Why are we stuck in that culture? We have been locked into not being able to think of new ways to market our products. If you try to make it like that, you will be scolded. Have to listen to stories.

But in the recent past, people took to the streets with false rumors that they were going to build a dock near the coral reef in Galle. But if a built Hanuman temple can be brought here from India, millions of tourists will come to Sri Lanka. How much can Galle be developed? Due to this cultural diversity in Galle, it can be said that it is a district with rainbow culture.

We can improve this from the end. The children of Galle should start thinking about that. As entrepreneurs, we should think about how we can develop the district without waiting for jobs from the government until we get anything from anyone. Instead of sharing a post that slanders someone else, Sri Lanka would also get money if they had posted the places in Galle. You also get something in the form of income. According to world philosophy, we should try to join the two percent of people who are successful in the world.

Martin Wickramasinghe Gunadhara Samarasekera, Ediriweera Sarathchandra, Senarath Paranavithana, C.W.W. Kannangara, Mr. Wimalasurendra, Sybil Vettasinghe, Gamini Hattotuwegama, leader of street theater, D.S.I. Mudalali, Maliban Mudalali, Gunadasa Kapuge, Apa Mudalali who made Panchanga Litha, an engineer from Galle found to put concrete instead of sleeper logs. Mr. Edwin Ariyadasa, Lasith Malinga, Mawan Athapattu, Upul Chandana, Jayasundara went to the world from Galle. Successful people in the world. We are rooting for them to achieve that success.

Many people worry and worry unknowingly. getting caught If we look, we were caught because of ideologies. When Ella Wellawaya Road was being built, it was said that it would be built by American planes. When they were making ‘Highway’, they said that they were going to bring sour tea to Mr. Mahinda. But because of the ‘highway’, we go from Galle to Colombo in an hour. So many things have happened because of these ideologies for 75 years. Every time Sri Lanka tried to build up, the country was pushed back because of wrong ideologies.

If Monash University was allowed to be built during the tenure of Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranaike, today’s debt in Sri Lanka can be paid off in a one yeare. It was destroyed by those who created ideologies for 75 years, not those who ruled. There were serious protests when the power plants were built. It was late to make. There is no hole in Uma Oya now. For seventy-five years the country’s progress has been hindered and the groups that have stopped the country’s progress have become a curse.

When the government start the farming colonies, tried to take advantage of the country’s oil tanks whish located Trincomale, they opposed everything. When sacks were transferred to containers at the port of Colombo, they tried to stop this by putting serious pressure on the idea that they were trying to lose people’s jobs. I’m saying don’t get caught up in what anyone says. We have to choose the right thing
