Israeli army enters Gaza’s largest hospital, which has been turned into a cemetery

International media say that Israeli forces entered Al-Shifa hospital this morning. Israel has said several times that this hospital provides shelter to Hamas terrorists.

The World Health Organization has warned that Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip, is about to become a graveyard. It reveals that thousands of corpses are piled up inside and outside the hospital.

Due to lack of energy in the hospital, dozens of premature babies and 45 kidney patients in need of dialysis facilities are unable to receive proper treatment, the organization said.

The manager of Al-Shifa has told the BBC that three premature babies are among the 32 people who died due to lack of treatment in recent days.

Dr. Ibrahim Matar, a cardiologist in the intensive care unit of Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital, the only medical center in the central Gaza Strip, reports to the BBC,
By now the whole hospital is full of wounded and refugees who have taken shelter in the hospital because they have lost their homes.

The doctor disclosed that there is only one operating room and a limited number of staff.

Israel began attacking the Gaza Strip following the October 7 Hamas attack that killed 1,200 people and took more than 200 hostages.

The Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health says that more than 11,000 people have died in the Gaza Strip, of which more than 4,500 are children.
