Sri Lanka’s National Consumer Price Index (NCPI) inflation has increased to 2.1 percent in September.
The National Consumer Price Index (NCPI) inflation in August was 1.5 percent.
The inflation report states that food inflation, which was 2.9 percent in August 2025, increased to 3.8 percent in September 2025, while non-food inflation, which was 0.4 percent in August 2025, increased to 0.7 percent in September 2025.
