A new system is introduced to give beer for voters

It is reported that various incentives are happening in India’s 2024 general election, which will be held for six weeks from April 19 to June 1.

Accordingly, foreign media have reported that many companies in the country are working to provide free food and drinks as well as transportation facilities to the voters of Bangalore, India.

As the percentage of people using the vote in the city of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka is very low, the concerned companies have taken this step to encourage them.

Accordingly, hotels, taxi companies and other service providers in Bangalore are offering various perks to encourage people to vote.

These include free beer, specially discounted taxi services as well as free health screenings.

Some stores have provided free food and drinks when customers show their finger painted with ink as proof of voting.

It is reported that the court’s permission is also available for the incentives which are done in a way that does not violate the election laws. Accordingly, it is reported that various companies are providing tea, coffee, tea and beer at a discount to the people who voted.

In the last general election held in 2019, Bangalore South constituency had recorded the lowest voter turnout in Karnataka at 53.7%.
