In line with Budget 2023, the Treasury has so far provided funds to settle all payments approved by the Government up to 15 December 2023.
According to the Presidential Media Division (PMD), this is the first time in twenty-five years that all payments have been successfully settled in one calendar year.
Further, the Treasury is ready to promptly release funds including any arrears for the retirement gratuity of officers retiring up to 19 December 2023.
